I’ve found that homemade spice mixes such as the ones i am about to share with you are a really simple way to be conscious of your health. No anti-caking aids, no ingredients you can’t pronounce, no sky-high sodium. You throw a few ingredients into a jar and shake so it is simple and time effective, it tastes better and you can change it to suit your tastes! It is also great to have these in your cupboard so you know you can knock up a tasty dish quick :)
Please note that these are all a base, you can change the amounts according to how much you need and also to your own tastes! Garam Masala (used in indian dishes)
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 1/2 teaspoons ground coriander
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cardamom
